Job summary

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Hematology night shift technologist to perform a range of high-complexity tests including CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely reporting in a fast-paced laboratory.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Medical Technology or related field with MT training and ASCP certification or equivalent, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or related science with MT training (1 year)
• 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing
• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to operate general lab equipment (analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, pipettes)

Responsibilities

• Perform CBC with differential, urinalysis, blood bank, coagulation, RPR, and HbA1c
• Analyze, review, and report testing results
• Identify when corrective action is needed and implement solutions
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with safety and quality controls
• Maintain strict confidentiality with PHI and comply with privacy standards
