Qualifikationen

• Passing score on the Clinical Laboratory Technology Proficiency examination approved by HHS (HEW) required.
• 0-2 years of acute care experience required.

Aufgaben

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory tests accurately and efficiently with timely reporting of results.
• Adhere to quality control procedures and address out-of-range results.
• Conduct instrument function checks and preventative maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and coordinate with appropriate personnel.
• Ensure safety regulations and PPE usage in all procedures.
• Communicate results and issues to peers, supervisors, and staff.
• Assist with data collection for accreditation and regulatory compliance.
• Collect urine drug screens and perform phlebotomy duties as needed.
• Collaborate with team to complete shift duties accurately and efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
