Qualifications

• Associate degree or military equivalent in laboratory science or medical lab procedures.
• 0-2 years of acute care laboratory experience preferred.
• Certification as MLT or equivalent and state license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high-complexity tests with accurate reporting and documentation.
• Maintains quality control and troubleshoot data and results.
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and safety equipment.
• Uses laboratory information systems for data entry and result reporting.
• Collects and documents chain-of-custody specimens as required.
• Ensures compliance with PPE and safety regulations.
