Job summary

Memorial Hermann seeks a Medical Technologist or MLT to join our team supporting the Alvin Free Standing ER and League City Convenient Care Center. The position will rotate across locations as needed and involves 12-hour day shifts.

You will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures and report results accordingly. The role requires an Associate Degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science (or equivalent) and eligibility/certification in ASCP or AMT within one year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Experience in high-complexity testing considered a plus.
• Eligible for ASCP/AMT certification or certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document test results and quality control per policy.
• Support lab operations including collections, sample processing, and result reporting.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and patients with sensitivity to needs and timelines.
• Maintain safety, efficiency, and patient-focused service while adhering to policies.
