Job Description

Plasma donor screener and phlebotomy associate responsible for operating a plasma center, ensuring donor safety, and maintaining quality records.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on donor safety.
• Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger‑stick results.
• Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
• Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes.
• Work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs. and occasionally lift materials up to 32 lbs. (rarely 50 lbs.).
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• 90% of tasks require prolonged glove wear due to potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1 or more years minimum experience in a customer or patient‑facing role is helpful.

Compensation and Benefits

U.S. – MT – Billings

Hourly Wage: $16.00, subject to state or local minimum wage requirements.
