Job summary

Grand Peaks Medical is seeking a compassionate Medical Team Lead to join our dedicated team. The role provides primary clinical support for an assigned provider at the St. Anthony clinic, with occasional coverage at the Rexburg clinic as needed.

The schedule features four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, plus a rotating Saturday shift aligned with the provider’s schedule. You will work with nurses, providers, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current CMA, LPN, or RN certification.
• Ability to administer medications and IVs, take vital signs, and assist with procedures.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical/medical experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical support for the assigned provider.
• Assist with nursing and administrative duties to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Prepare patients for examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, and other clinical information.
• Administer medications, injections, and perform diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
• Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and medical equipment.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up as needed.
• Support appointment scheduling and communication with patients and healthcare partners.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all organizational policies.
• Lead by example, promote teamwork, and assist with training and mentoring clinical staff.
• Support daily operational and clinical needs across the practice as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
