Job summary

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the continuum and advocate for patients and families.

You will assess and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, administer medications, educate patients, participate in discharge planning, and support quality, safety, and infection prevention initiatives. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for this position, with a weekly schedule of 36 hours.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care with the team.
• Perform patient assessments and reassessments.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery.
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support quality, safety, and infection prevention initiatives.
• Participate in discharge planning.
