Job summary

Mission Regional Medical Center, a 297-bed non-profit hospital, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Medical/Surgical Unit on the night shift. Join an award-winning team committed to our core values of quality, compassion and community.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, monitor patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safe, effective care and timely interventions. Current RN license, BLS, and ACLS are required, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained (preferred).
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Ventilator management experience preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• Direct patient/family teaching and supervise other nursing staff.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians.
