Job summary

EnvisionAge Incorporated is seeking a registered nurse to join our clinical team in Washington, DC. The role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and collaborative treatment planning in a fast-paced medical-surgical setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, current CPR/BLS/ALS certifications, and at least one year of recent experience in the required specialty. You will document patient progress and participate in multidisciplinary rounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Active RN license in at least one U.S. state or DC.
• Current CPR, BLS, and Advanced Life Support certifications.
• Minimum one year of nursing experience in the past three years.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history, observe, assess, and record symptoms and progress.
• Assist physicians during treatments and examinations; administer medications.
• Complete admissions/discharges and promote rehabilitation.
• Document all patient care using standard medical records.
• Assess patients and plan and manage nursing care.
• Instruct patients and families in proper care and education.
• Communicate patient information to charge nurse/physician.
• Manage direct patient care procedures and assist with procedures.
• Ensure compliance with hospital procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in quality assurance and risk management activities.
• Attend patient care conferences and discharge planning sessions.

Education

Nursing degree (Diploma/Associates/Bachelors/Masters/Doctorate)
