Job summary

STGi is seeking a Medical Support Assistant to provide clerical and administrative support at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Mountain Home, AR. The role emphasizes scheduling, patient check-in, records management, and coordination of care with the VA/VAMC, requiring strong front‑office skills and EMR proficiency.

A high school diploma or GED and CPR/BLS are required; 1–3 years of related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification from AHA or MTN is required.
• 1–3 years of medical/clerical experience preferred.
• Strong front office and telehealth tech skills.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manage schedules and treatment for CBOC patients.
• Greet and check in patients, update records as needed.
• Coordinate patients' schedules and clinic flow.
• Schedule new and established patient appointments.
• Track encounters and consults, and maintain data.
• Assist with VISTA reminders and clinic reporting.
• Communicate with VA/VAMC stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure readiness for visits with pre-appointment requirements.
• Maintain patient data confidentiality and quality.
