Description
JOB SUMMARY: Provide medical support services for the Administration department at Clinton Service Unit.
- Performs receptionist duties such as receiving patients, visitors, and calls; referring calls to appropriate staff; escorting patients; scheduling and checking in appointments; answering inquiries; operating paging systems; communicating with outside agencies and internal departments.
- Interview patients to obtain accurate registration information, including demographics, Tribal enrollment, and third-party resources.
- Educate patients on required forms and obtain signatures to facilitate billing and facility policies.
- Determine patient eligibility based on the Oklahoma City Area Eligibility Policy, verifying necessary documentation.
- Maintain and update medical records, including handling of documents and updating life events.
- Participate in revenue cycle processes, perform screening for third-party resources, and refer patients to benefit coordinators as needed.
- Background check required.
