This part-time Medical Support Assistant (Advanced) position is located at VA Boston Medical Center, West Roxbury, MA. The role involves administrative support primarily focused on scheduling within the section, among other duties.
20 hours per week, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, based on organizational needs.
Basic Requirements: U.S. citizenship, education or experience in administrative tasks, English proficiency, and other standard qualifications.
Grade Level GS-06: Requires one year of experience at the GS-05 level, demonstrating high-volume scheduling, customer service, and familiarity with clinic operations. Must demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities including collaboration, organization, communication, and technical healthcare knowledge.
Some physical exertion required, including standing, reaching, and lifting moderately heavy items. Work involves keyboarding and walking around the facility.
