Summary
The incumbent serves as a Medical Support Assistant (MSA) in the VA Community Care team. Performs clerical and administrative support in the coordination, care, and treatment provided to patients throughout the VA Community Care processes in the Fargo VA Health Care System (VAHCS), including all Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Basic Requirements
Grade Levels and KSAs
GS-3: Entry level with basic skills.
GS-4: One year experience or two years of education above high school, with demonstrated ability in communication, computer use, and medical terminology.
GS-5: One year experience at GS-4 level or four years of education above high school, with advanced knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and independent work skills.
Physical Requirements: Participation in pre-employment exam required.
Additional Information: Education from accredited institutions or foreign equivalency required. The full performance level is GS-5, with a range of GS-3 to GS-5 applicable for hiring.
