The MST follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for decontaminating, preparing, sterilizing, disinfecting, and distributing RMDs.
This is an open continuous announcement until August 15, 2025, with the initial referral cutoff date on May 29, 2025. Applications received after this date will be referred as needed until positions are filled.
Additional requirements include foreign education evaluation, certifications (none required at entry level), and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities for each grade level from GS-03 to GS-06.
Details for each grade level include experience, education, KSAs, and duties, progressing from basic knowledge and supervised tasks at GS-03 to full performance responsibilities at GS-06, including handling complex RME and sterilization processes.
Work involves various settings, physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in environments that may be hot, humid, cold, or noisy. PPE is required, and safety precautions are emphasized.
