The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Supply Technician - Medical for the Medical Supply Distribution (MSD) within the Logistics Service. This is not a virtual position; you must live within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate.

Duties include pulling stock, replenishing, inventory management with bar coding, and delivering supplies in sterile and operational condition.

Formación

• Transcript must be submitted if basing qualifications on education.
• If using foreign education, must submit Certificate of Foreign Equivalency with transcript.

Responsabilidades

• Pulls stock inventory and material for delivery; replenishes stock inventory; interacts with clinical and administrative customers and maintains records on stock levels.
• Monitors expiration dates, rotates stock to limit outdates and removes items from use as required by outdates.
• Distributes items according to established or ad hoc requirements in computerized inventory management systems. Delivers supplies in a timely manner and ensures supplies and material delivered are in sterile and operational condition.
• Completes specialty cart preparation. Receives supplies and material into the medical center's catchment area. Performs other related duties as assigned.
