Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join the High Acuity Medical Stepdown Team. Location: Mercy Hospital South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St.

Louis, MO 63128. Schedule: Part-Time 24 hrs/week or Full-Time 36 hrs/week with Day or Night shifts. The role emphasizes close patient monitoring, vital signs, daily living activities, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA/CPTC or enrollment in healthcare program preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs; stand long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs and enter data in the EMR.
• Assist patients with meals, bathing, mobility, and transportation.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
• Phlebotomy and wound care as part of PCT duties.
