Job summary

Freeman is seeking a Medical Staff Service Specialist to assist the Medical Staff Services Coordinator with credentialing, privileging, onboarding and regulatory compliance. You will help gather documents for initial appointments and reappointments and support the transition from a paper to an MD Staff system.

You will help coordinate onboarding, provider orientation and ensure timely tracking of licenses, DEA, CME and malpractice coverage for providers during Medical Staff meetings and

Qualifications

• Experience in medical staff services or credentialing is required.
• Familiarity with credentialing, privileging and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining documents/verification for initial appointment and reappointment including credentials, licensure, education, training and experience.
• Transition from paper process to MD Staff.
• Support onboarding and provider orientation.
• Medical staff office coverage of Medical Staff Meetings including preparing minutes.
• Track essential provider documents (license, BNDD, DEA, CME, malpractice).
