Job summary

Summit Pacific Medical Center seeks an experienced Medical Staff Services leader to direct credentialing, privileging, enrollment, and CME programs. You will oversee governance, ongoing compliance, and collaboration with hospital leadership to support provider enrollment and onboarding.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3 years’ related experience, 2 years in supervision, and familiarity with CMS/DNV standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 3 years of directly related work experience with medical staff coordination and governance.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in medical staff services.
• DNV experience preferred.
• NAMSS CPMSM or CPCS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership for Medical Staff Services operations, performance, service delivery, and regulatory compliance.
• Supervises department staff, manages staffing, performance, engagement and competency.
• Manages department budget and resources and participates in leadership meetings.
• Coordinates provider recruitment, onboarding, and contract review with internal partners.
• Administers credentialing and recredentialing for employed, contract, and locum providers; verifies primary sources.
