Job summary

HopeHealth is seeking a Medical Staff Operations Coordinator to oversee scheduling, operational coordination, and executive support for medical staff across palliative care and hospice programs in Providence, RI.

This role leads the development of a scheduling platform, coordinates provider coverage across multiple sites, and partners with Medical Staff leadership to align policies and processes, ensuring high-quality patient care delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in healthcare administration, operations, or related field.
• Experience with staff scheduling and healthcare operations.
• Executive/administrative coordination experience with strong communication.
• Strong technical proficiency with scheduling platforms, databases, and MS Office.
• Ability to manage complex calendars and prioritize tasks.
• Experience navigating electronic health records in a clinical/operational context.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage three existing staffing schedules and on-call coverage.
• Provide executive support to Medical Staff leaders with meeting prep and follow-up.
• Assist with onboarding logistics and learner scheduling coordination.
• Design, implement, and maintain scheduling platforms and ensure calendar alignment with the EHR.
• Track action items and coordinate across initiatives to support progress.
