Job summary

HCA Midwest Health is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator to manage credentialing functions for the Medical Staff. You will be the expert on the Cactus system and maintain practitioner data, acting as the primary contact for appointments, reappointments, and related compliance tasks.

The role requires knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws, Credentialing Policies, and related software, with extensive medical terminology background. A high school diploma is required, associates degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience.
• NAMSS certification in progress required/desired.
• Working knowledge of Medical Staff Bylaws and Credentials Policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and privileging processes.
• Maintain accurate practitioner information in the credentialing systems.
• Serve as primary contact for appointments, reappointments, and data updates.
• Provide data support for Meditech and credentialing reports.
• Assist Credentials Committee and Medical Executive Committee with information flow.
