• Ensure all providers meet standards set by accrediting agencies (e.g., The Joint Commission), state and federal regulations, and insurance panels.
• Maintain accurate and confidential credentialing files and provider databases; use credentialing software to monitor application status and compliance data.
• Act as a liaison between providers, hospital departments, credentialing committees, and medical staff offices.
