Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Logan, UT seeks a Credentialing Coordinator to manage the Medical Staff credentialing and privileging process and related admin tasks. You will coordinate applications, reviews, and notifications in line with bylaws, ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate databases.

The role supports physician engagement, quality activities, and initiatives across Medical Staff Services. This is a full-time, on-site position with standard business hours and occasional flexibility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years hospital/medical staff office experience.
• NAMSS certification recommended; CPCS/CPMSM within five years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process credentialing applications for Medical Staff and APPs.
• Attend and assist Credentials Committee reviews.
• Notify applicants and departments per Medical Staff Bylaws and policies.
• Maintain Medical Staff database and rosters; notify staff of licensure/requirements.
• Coordinate reappointment and temporary privileges; notify physicians and departments.
• Schedule and prepare minutes for MEC, Credentialing Committee and major meetings.
• Support physician engagement and regional/system initiatives as requested.
