Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to manage the credentialing and privileging process for the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals at both Kirkland and Monroe locations.

You will maintain credentialing databases, support Medical Staff committees, and ensure compliance with bylaws and Joint Commission standards. A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of office experience are required; CPCS/CPMSM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• 5 years of general office experience.
• Strong analytical skills and statistical ability essential.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Processes requests for medical staff membership and privileges for initial appointment and reappointment.
• Maintains credentialing and privileging database information and generates reports.
• Prepares reports and queries for credentialing, privileging, proctoring, status changes and committee reports.
• Monitors expiration dates for licenses, DEA, and malpractice insurance.
• Processes applications for medical students, residents and allied health professionals to enable rotations.
