Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Medical Staff Coordinator – PPE at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL.

The role requires organizing and presenting practitioner-specific data to assess provider competency and support patient safety within Medical Staff Services. Responsibilities include coordinating departmental activities, overseeing credentialing processes, serving as a liaison among medical, nursing and administrative staff, and ensuring proper handling of records in line with

Qualifications

• Required - High School Graduate or Equivalent with 5 years administrative support experience.
• Or - High School Graduate or Equivalent with 3 years credentialing/medical staff office experience.
• Or - Bachelor's Degree in related field with 6 months to 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates functions within Medical Staff Services and supports daily department activities.
• Oversees credentialing and reappointment processes for Allied Health or Medical Staff.
• Acts as liaison to medical, nursing and administrative staff; disseminates information per bylaws and regulations.
• Manages files and records in compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations.
• Supports medical staff committees and department meetings; performs other duties as assigned.
