Job summary

Qualifications

• College course work or vocational training preferred
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) by the National Association of Medical Staff Services, or in the process leading to certification within 18 months from the date of hire
• Minimum three (3) years of credentialing experience in acute care setting or directly related experience
• Credentialing database experience preferred
• Echo credentialing database preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare medical staff functions, including committee meeting logistics and minute-taking
• Coordinate, monitor and maintain credentialing and re-credentialing processes (appointment, reappointment, FPPE/OPPE, privileging) for medical staff and allied health practitioners
