Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, Delaware, seeks a Medical Simulation Technician (Finance) to operate and maintain simulation technologies and AV equipment for NICE events.

You will support role-playing, moulage, and course delivery, teach AHA courses, and help with inventory, maintenance, and cost-control while collaborating with the NICE team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience/medical background is required.
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology.
• BLS Instructor certification through the American Heart Association is required upon hire.
• National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians - Basic (NREMT-B) certification is preferred.
• PALS Instructor certification is preferred.
• ACLS Instructor certification is preferred.
• CHSOS certification is preferred.
• IT background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation-based technologies, computers, audiovisual systems, and related equipment.
• Assist with role playing and moulage applications.
• Maintain inventory and generate utilization reports.
• Provide training and technical support to the NICE team and stakeholders.
• Monitor and participate in community outreach and recruitment efforts.
• Facilitate preventive maintenance and coordinate with vendors to minimize downtime.
• Support course delivery and instruction of AHA and other simulation-based programs.
