Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an SP Educator to develop and implement educational activities for the SP Program. The role involves administering program policies and coordinating training for educators and simulations.

Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree (preferred), plus experience as an educator or in training learners, and familiarity with SP education terminology and methodologies. This position follows a hybrid work schedule with on-site and remote days based on needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred.
• Experience as an educator, instructor, or teacher preferred.
• Experience training or developing learners in an educational environment preferred.
• Standardized Patient (SP) Educator experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical education terminology, curriculum, skills, and practices pertinent to SP education.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and trains SPs, evaluating performance and professionalism.
• Develops orientation materials for recruitment and SP programs.
• Maintains knowledge of medical education terminology and SP education practices.
• Collaborates with SP Program Director and faculty on case development and evaluation procedures.
• Prepares program reports and funding proposals.
