Job summary

Des Moines University is seeking a Human Simulation Educator to advance experiential learning within the HS Lab. This role involves designing simulation-based educational activities and training Simulated Patients (SPs) to support student assessment.

Applicants should possess relevant educational qualifications and at least two years of related work experience in patient care or medical simulation. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of clinical interviewing and possess professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years related work experience in training, patient care, or medical simulation.
• Experience with simulated patients and clinical interviewing preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CMA, LPN, RN, or CHSE are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to design and implement simulation scenarios.
• Manage and train Simulated Patients effectively.
• Conduct quality assurance and provide feedback.
