Job summary

Eagle Integrated Solutions (EIS) is seeking a Medical Simulation Operator to support the School of Aerospace Medicine, 711 HPW. You will operate high-fidelity patient simulators, develop metrics for training validation, and utilize advanced learning technologies to improve healthcare education and patient outcomes.

The role involves collaboration with Air Force personnel, digital video recording, and simulator maintenance within a controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Current and maintain a National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification.
• Paramedic knowledge (RN level preferred) to manipulate physiological data and interpret responses.
• Current Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification.
• Five years of clinical experience in military or civilian setting.
• At least 2 years’ experience with programming of human patient simulators (Laerdal, Gaumard & CAE).
• Prior experience in course development and education methodology.
• Knowledge of AFMS Clinical Practice Guidelines and Air Force/professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on operating a high-fidelity patient simulator system and help develop metrics for validation of simulation training.
• Assist with advanced learning technologies to improve medical education and training for healthcare teams.
• Work with Air Force personnel to provide digital video recording support and maintenance of equipment; analyze training measures and design simulation scenarios.
• Provide support for digital video recording and simulators for other training platforms.
