Job summary

Upchurch is a growing full-service building engineering company based in the Southeast, seeking a hands-on HVAC supervisor for our Canton, MS area. You will supervise technicians, schedule daily service calls, and manage customer accounts while upholding high safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

• 4–6 years of HVAC experience; Valid HVAC license and EPA Certification (per Mississippi requirements).
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and controls.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient with dispatching/service management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support HVAC service technicians.
• Schedule and coordinate daily service calls and preventative maintenance.
• Manage assigned customer accounts, open work orders, and PM task lists.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with codes and company standards.
• Provide advanced technical support and assist with complex troubleshooting.
• Handle customer concerns, escalations, and communication.
• Monitor labor, productivity, and service profitability.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and inventory for field operations.
• Promote and enforce safety policies, OSHA/EPA compliance, and proper PPE use.
