Job summary

National HME in Tyler, TX is hiring Medical Service Technicians. Responsibilities include safely driving and delivering durable medical equipment, stocking vehicles, and ensuring full functionality of equipment for patients and caregivers.

This is a 24/7 operation with rotating on-call shifts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important; a drug screen, clean driving record, and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record with no major violations in the past 5 years.
• Subject to a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maintain company vehicle (16-foot box truck or van).
• Enforces DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME.
• Receives route and prepares the truck for delivery by pulling stock and loading equipment.
• Delivers, unloads, and sets equipment to full functionality.
• Reviews basic equipment operation and instructs patients/caregivers on proper use and care.
• Demonstrates timeliness and professionalism; supports on-call rotating schedule.
