Job summary

National HME is seeking Medical Service Technicians to operate in Atlanta, GA - East. The role involves driving a 16-foot box truck, delivering and setting up DME equipment, and educating patients and caregivers on proper use. Training is provided for the right candidates.

This is a 24/7 operation with rotating on-call schedules. A drug screen, background check, and clean driving record are required. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must pass a drug screen.
• Must be at least 23 years of age.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle record with no major violations (including DUI) in past 5 years.
• Subject to a criminal background check.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maintain company vehicle (16-foot box truck or van).
• Enforce all DOT and FDA regulations as they pertain to Oxygen and DME for the branch.
• Receive daily route and required supply list and prepare the truck for delivery by pulling stock, loading equipment, and staging the vehicle.
• Deliver, unload, and set the equipment to full functionality.
• Review basic equipment operation and instruct patients and/or caregivers on proper use and care.
• Accept other duties and activities as assigned.
• Foster professional working relationships using strong interpersonal and communication skills; participate in rotating on-call schedule.
