Job summary

National HME is seeking Medical Service Technicians to operate in Columbus, OH, delivering and setting up durable medical equipment and oxygen devices. The role requires driving a 16-foot box truck, following DOT/FDA regulations, and ensuring equipment operates correctly for patients and caregivers.

You will handle daily routes, stock preparation, on-call shifts, and maintain professional, courteous interactions while promoting the company’s values and services.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to drive and interact with customers.
• Understanding and adherence to DOT/FDA regulations related to Oxygen and DME.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and maintain company vehicle (16-foot box truck or van).
• Enforces all DOT and FDA regulations for Oxygen and DME at the branch.
• Prepare truck for delivery by pulling stock and loading equipment.
• Deliver, unload, and set equipment to full functionality.
• Instruct patients/caregivers on proper use and care of equipment.
• Accept other duties as assigned.
• Foster professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Operate on a 24/7 rotating on-call schedule.
• Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience in interactions.
• Market the company positively and professionally.
