Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Scribe Tech to document visits in the EMR, assist the physician with basic patient care, and help manage patient flow in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will support site operations and ensure DOH compliance while delivering compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have strong English skills, a medical assisting background or phlebotomy certification, and are able to work full-time including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED, Medical Assisting program or phlebotomy certification a plus.
• Friendly and professional with excellent bedside manner.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills; English language required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician with basic patient care and medical procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and manage patient flow.
• Ensure DOH compliance of site lab and exam rooms.
• Maintain a clean, courteous, and professional environment.
• Provide compassionate care to our patients.
