Job summary

SEPA Pain & Spine is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to document patient encounters in real time and maintain precise electronic health records. You will assist with appointment scheduling and patient follow-up to keep operations efficient.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience with EMR/EHR systems; a Monday–Friday schedule and standard benefits support a stable work life in Horsham, PA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation ability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Document patient histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions during physician visits.
• Enter physician orders for medications, lab work, imaging, and other services.
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including follow-ups and waitlist openings.
• Contact patients about earlier appointment availability and document scheduling issues.
• Protect confidential patient information and follow privacy requirements.
• Support physicians and clinical staff with additional administrative duties.
