Job summary

SEPA Pain & Spine in Horsham, PA is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient encounters in real time and maintaining accurate electronic health records. The role also assists with appointment scheduling and patient follow-up to keep clinical operations running smoothly.

This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule with shift 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and a compensation of $20-$23 per hour, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong written communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Document patient histories, examination findings, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions during physician visits.
• Enter physician orders for medications, lab work, imaging, and other services.
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, including follow-ups and waitlist openings.
• Contact patients about earlier appointment availability and document scheduling issues.
• Protect confidential patient information and follow privacy requirements.
• Support physicians and clinical staff with additional administrative duties.
