Job summary

HealthChannels, LLC is seeking a medical scribe to work on-site with physicians to document patient visits in real time using electronic health record systems.

You will record patient history, exams, and treatments, review lab results, and ensure HIPAA compliance while keeping charts up to date and organized for doctor review. Training is provided, with full-time or part-time options, and opportunities for growth across locations.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM and strong listening/communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors using EHR systems.
• Record patient history, exams, treatments and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure and up to date.
• Send and organize documents for doctor review and charting.
• Support lab tracking, follow‑ups, and overall clinic operations.
