Job summary

ScribeAmerica is seeking motivated individuals to join our Emergency Department team as Medical Scribes. You will document patient visits in real time, recording history, exams and treatments while supporting doctors and the healthcare team.

No experience is required as training is provided through Scribe University, with opportunities for hands-on clinical instruction and shadowing physicians. Roles are available both full-time and part-time in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (18+)
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM required.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Strong listening and communication skills expected.
• Flexible schedule availability for shifts.
• Must be able to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours.

Responsibilities

• Document patient visits in real time with doctors.
• Record patient history, exams, and treatments.
• Use electronic health record (EHR) systems during visits.
• Review and track lab and test results.
• Follow HIPAA and keep records secure.
