Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a four-year undergraduate program majoring in pre-med or related field.
• Knowledge of English grammar, spelling and medical terminology.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Transcribes a variety of medical reports with high accuracy, following priority from supervisor.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
• Scribes for physicians during examinations and treatments, documenting in the electronic health record.
• Ensures reports are properly formatted, checked for spelling, punctuation and medical terminology.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
