UCLA Health in Burbank, CA is seeking a Medical Scribe to support clinical documentation during patient visits. The role requires accurate data entry, fast transcription, and preparation of charts with referring doctors’ information to keep the clinic moving smoothly.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Work will be onsite in a busy clinical setting with standard weekday hours.

Salary Range: $26.68 - 34.7 Hourly
The Medical Scribe will provide medical record support services. Duties will include transcribing medical data quickly and accurately while patients are being examined, preparing charts of upcoming new and established patients by entering referring and other treating Doctors(s) contact information, and all medical information relevant to the office visit, take patient history, symptoms and complaints in advance of visit. The incumbent will also provide feedback about any data entry errors and reviewing records using accurate spelling, correct grammar, and completeness before they are sent to the physicians for review and approval. The medical scribe will be responsible for keeping the physician(s) moving in the office during clinic hours. The scribe will complete all return to work and return to school forms when required by the physician. The scribe will also assist in abstracting, scanning, cataloging paper records into the electronic record, and other duties, as needed.
Salary Range: $26.68 - $34.70 Hourly
