Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to document accurately under physician supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document medical visits and procedures in the EMR.
• Communicate with patients, pharmacies, and physicians over the phone under physician guidance.
• Proofread and edit all physician documents for accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Attend trainings on HIPAA, IT, and regulatory compliance, and billing/coding as needed.
• Manage a high-volume workflow with attention to quality.
