Job summary

Advanced Internal Medicine Group, PC is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians with real-time clinical documentation in a fast-paced outpatient setting in East Hills, NY. This full-time role focuses on accurate charting and efficient workflow to enhance patient care.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong typing and communication skills, and prior healthcare experience is a plus but not required. Competitive hourly compensation, training, and onboarding are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real time within the EMR.
• Accurately capture history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam findings, and assessment/plan.
• Assist physicians in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day.
• Prepare charts in advance of patient visits, including relevant history and prior results.
• Ensure documentation supports appropriate coding and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall office operations.
