ADVANCED INTERNAL MEDICINE GROUP PC is seeking a Medical Scribe to support physicians with real-time clinical documentation in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Location: East Hills, NY, with a full-time schedule designed for rising clinicians and healthcare students seeking hands-on exposure.

Your role includes documenting encounters in real time, capturing history and exam findings, and helping maintain efficient patient flow while preparing charts ahead of visits.

Qualifications

• Real-time documentation in an EMR system.
• Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Prior scribe or healthcare experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Document patient encounters in real time within the EMR.
• Accurately capture history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam findings, and assessment/plan.
• Assist physicians in maintaining efficient patient flow throughout the clinic day.
• Prepare charts in advance of patient visits, including relevant history and prior results.
• Ensure documentation supports appropriate coding and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to support overall office operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Scribe to support our physicians with real-time clinical documentation and workflow efficiency. This is an ideal role for individuals pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, or allied health who are looking for meaningful, hands-on clinical exposure in a dynamic outpatient setting.
