• Tuesday-7:30am-5pm
• Thursday-8:00am-5pm
• Friday -1pm-5pm

The Medical Scribe will assist the provider with completing dictations to improve the efficiency and quality of patient visits and overall clinic flow. The Carrollton location is lively, so a quick learner who is assertive will do well in this role.

We need a Medical Scribe who can commit for at least one year, so gap-year students are welcome to apply!

Key Functions

• Assist the provider in navigating the Electronic Health Record (E.H.R) system
• Locate information for review
• Enter information into E.H.R. as directed by the provider
• Research information as requested by the provider
• Respond to various messages as directed by the provider
• Assist physicians/physician assistants with documenting patient care in the E.H.R. and ensure all services are coded correctly
• Comply with HIPAA procedures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Bachelor's degree and gap-year students are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with Medical and Anatomy Terminology required
• Professional communication skills with patients and medical staff
• Typing speed of 45+ words per minute
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
