What You Need To Excel As a Medical Scribe

Medical Scribe Job Responsibilities

• Assist providers during patient visits by documenting assessments and exams
• Document patient history, physical exams, assessments, diagnostic results, procedures, treatment plans, medical opinions, diagnoses, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Navigate the facility's electronic medical record system
• Monitor labs and radiology orders for results to guide patient care
• Review patient history and test results to support medical decisions
• Follow compliance and company policies
