Job Title: Medical Scribe - Cosmetic Dermatology

A cosmetic dermatology practice in West Hollywood is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to support our providers by accurately documenting patient encounters and ensuring smooth practice operations. Key responsibilities include:

1. Document patient visits accurately and efficiently, including history, examination, procedures, and treatment plans.
2. Assist dermatologists in charting and updating electronic medical records (EMR).
3. Ensure documentation complies with regulatory and compliance standards.
4. Prepare and organize patient charts for review.
5. Coordinate with medical staff for timely and accurate documentation.
6. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
7. Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in medical terminology or healthcare preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience as a medical scribe in a cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, or similar environment.
• Proficiency in EMR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of dermatology and cosmetic procedures is advantageous.
