Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions serving Columbia and Charleston, SC. You will be the primary scientific resource to key opinion leaders and healthcare providers, guiding data and supporting Amgen's product strategy in a field-based role.

The position requires advanced degrees with Medical Affairs experience and involves cross-functional collaboration, travel, and ongoing scientific exchange within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a doctorate, or a master's with Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's with Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support the obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data of clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead project teams and participate in congress activities as delegated.

Education

Doctorate degree

Masters degree and 3 years of Medical Affairs experience

Bachelors degree and 5 years of Medical Affairs experience

Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered)
