Job summary

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Obesity and Related Conditions for the Long Beach, CA area. This field-based role will engage Opinion Leaders and healthcare providers to share scientific data, support Amgen’s pipeline, and advance patient outcomes through compliant scientific exchange.

You will build relationships with investigators and institutions, communicate data-driven value, and contribute to congress activities while maintaining clinical acumen and adherence to

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with 3 years Medical Affairs, or Bachelor’s with 5 years Medical Affairs.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (other doctoral degrees considered); 1+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• 4 or more years in a medically related field, including 1 year focused on clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.

Responsibilities

• Engage with OLs and PHDMs to discuss scientific data and advance Amgen’s platform.
• Support obesity-related pipeline by collaborating with investigators and sites.
• Communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to stakeholders.
• Lead and participate on project teams and support congress activities.
