Position Overview: Invitae, now part of Labcorp, offers a field-based Genetic Counselor position for the West territory. The role involves serving as a scientific and clinical expert, fostering relationships with KOLs, HCPs, and medical institutions, primarily focusing on hereditary cancer. Work remotely from your home office with regional travel throughout the West, including California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, with potential national and international travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing educational support on hereditary cancer and prenatal testing products.
• Developing strategic relationships with KOLs and external contacts.
• Serving as an expert resource internally and externally.
• Collaborating on educational activities, attending conferences, and participating in product development.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics.
• ABGC/ABMG certification.
• At least 2 years of clinical genetic counseling experience, preferably in hereditary cancer.
• Experience in prenatal genetic counseling is a plus.
• Knowledge of antenatal screening, molecular diagnostics, and hereditary cancer.
