Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Two (2) years of scheduling in a multi-specialty clinic (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Schedule follow up/return visits for patients.
• Obtain pre-certifications and pre-authorizations as needed.
• Schedule medical tests and procedures for patients (e.g., cardiology).
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure understanding.
• Call patients to schedule procedures and provide instructions.
• Use Allscripts, Centricity Business, and online paging systems.
